The Digital PROCESSPOWER (DPP) UPS from AMETEK Solid State Controls is a true on-line, double conversion Uninterruptible Power Supply systems that provides continuous, clean, regulated power for critical AC loads. Designed specifically for process control and industrial applications, the DPP systems utilize state of the art PWM technology, incorporating high power IGVT semiconductors, and digital control for enhanced communications, monitoring, control and diagnostics capabilities. Also essential to the DPP design is the use of fiber optic cables for control and communications; allowing for better isolation and faster, more accurate signals between processors. The DPP designs also include an LCD panel and user-friendly touch screen display for the ultimate in user control.

The BCR Battery Chargers are thyristor-based systems designed for high efficiency conversion of incoming commercial AC to DC power for charging large banks of station batteries, while supplying power to continuous DC loads, such as Inverters.

The SS Series Inverters are true on-line ferroresonant transformer-based devices intended for use in UPS systems or in stand-alone applications. The inverter's basic function is to convert DC power from a rectifier/ charger or battery to an extremely accurate, regulated AC output for powering the load. Each inverter includes a static transfer switch and manual bypass switch.

The RS Series Remote Manual Bypass Switch (RMBS) is a 3 position switch that allows for complete isolation of UPS or inverter in order to perform routine or emergency maintenance on the equipment. The load id temporarily transferred from the inverter (UPS) onto the bypass (alternate) AC power source. This make-before-break switch is designed to transfer between two in-sync sources to enable a zero-break transfer in both directions, so there is no disruption of power to the connected load(s).

The IPC Series are industrial power conditioners intended for use in the bypass path of an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system or as a stand-alone system. Each unit integrates a precision line voltage regulator and a shielded isolation transformer in a single system enclosure.

The ISL Series are ferroresonant regulating transformers housed in single system enclosures. These units are designed to accept a widely varying AC input voltage, while simultaneously producing a well regulated, filtered AC output. ISL Series units have the unique characteristic of being short circuit protected sot that overloads and shot circuits on the secondary side are not reflected back to the primary.

SCI battery chargers are thyristor-based systems designed for high-efficiency conversion (>90%) of commercial AC power to DC power for charging station type batteries. They are also compatible with our inverter systems to be used as Uninterruptible Power System (UPS) as a float system, or a s stand alone charger for DC only applications. All models are equally compatible with all lead acid type batteries including, lead calcium and antimony, nickel cadmium, or valve regulated for station DC systems.
